Quick
and Easy Setup
Optical alignment of the projector does not require disassembly of this projector. Simply
open the upper panel cover and adjust the lens angle by rotating the horizontal and
vertical screws with the supplied adjustment plate. |
| |
Increased
Brightness & Increased Bandwidth
The VPH-D50HTU incorporates 7" CRTs that offer brightness of 160 ANSI lumens and
bandwidth of 75 MHz. The benefits of increased bandwidth allow for a RGB resolution of
(SXGA) 1280 x 1024 and a wider frequency response. |
| |
Universal
Air Coupling
Enables the projectors screen size flexibility, to reproduce images ranging from 60 to
250 inches. Fine adjustments can be performed quickly and easily with the VPH-D50HTU. The
CRT and lens angle can be independently changed horizontally and vertically while
observing the reproduced image. |

Memory
For Picture Control Data Recall
The projector has 42 memory blocks (50 in total) that can be assigned to an input signal,
so that the best possible registration and picture control data for each input signal can
be memorized. This greatly reduces setup time. |
| |
Better
Registration System
Two registration adjustments, Key balance and Pin balance, have been added for better
registration control. When completed prior to zone adjustments, these minimize any
necessary zone adjustments. |
| |
Horizontal
Scanning Frequency
The new CRT accepts a horizontal scanning frequency of 64kHz. This expands video
applications to include quadruplers, as well as increasing the acceptable input frequency.
|
| |
Standard
Inputs
In addition to the composite video and Y/C video inputs, the VPH-D50HTU can accept both
HDTV (Y/PB/PR or RGB) signal and Component (R-Y(CR)/Y/R-B(CB)) signal at the same time,
without any optional IFB board. |
| |
Picture
Orbit Function
A Picture Orbiting function prevents CRT burn, which is an inherent problem with CRTs.
When a still image is projected for a prolonged period of time, the image can burn into
the CRT. In order to decrease burn-in, the system rotates the image at an
indistinguishable speed and range. |
| |
7
On-Screen Languages
For a broader user range. Languages used for the on-screen display can be selected among
English, Japanese, Chinese, German, French, Italian and Spanish, based on the users
preference. |
| |
Video
Memory Function
Up to 10 control setting recalls for each signal input, 6 factory presets, and picture
control settings can be adjusted and memorized according to viewer preference. Up to ten
different memory settings are available for easy recall. Picture control settings include
functions such as contrast, hue, and brightness. All Video Memory inputs can be changed. |
| |
Multi
Screen Brightness Uniformity
When a number of projectors are simultaneously used for a multi-screen display, a cascade
or daisy chain connection of the ABL terminal on each projector is possible. Once the ABL
activates on a projector, the others will automatically follow, maintaining uniform
brightness on the entire screen. |
| |
RS-422A
Interface Computer Control
The RS-422A remote interface enables a computer to control the projector operation,
allowing for system expansion. |
| |
Index
Function
Control individual PJs in multi-unit applications. A "built-in" index function
allows an index number to be assigned to each projector in a multi-unit application. |
| |
Conserve
Energy
When there is no signal input for more than 10 minutes, the projector will automatically
enter into the POWER SAVE MODE, and the projection image will become muted. As soon as a
signal is fed to the projector or any of the control keys are pressed, the projector will
resume operation. |
